Extra Small Kosher Mezuzah Scroll | 2.8-Inch (7 cm)

A 2.8 inch handwritten Mezuzah scroll. Like all of our scrolls, this one is 100% guaranteed to be Kosher. Written in Israel and checked at Mezuzah Store by a certified sofer STaM. We search high and low to bring you this scroll. There are only a few scribes in the world who are able to write Kosher scrolls this small.

Despite its small size, this is a complete, fully handwritten, and 100% Kosher Mezuzah Scroll. It contains the complete parshiyot (פָּרָשִׁיּוֹת, Torah passages) of Shema and Vehaya im shamoa, written in traditional STaM ink rather than printed or mechanically reproduced.

Writing a kosher scroll at this scale requires unusually controlled, precise Hebrew lettering. Only specially skilled sofrim can form every letter clearly while maintaining the spacing, writing order, and halachic requirements needed for a valid mezuzah.

A Complete Kosher Scroll in a Miniature Format

The smaller parchment does not contain a shortened text and is not a decorative substitute. It carries the same required Torah passages found in larger Kosher Mezuzah Scrolls.

The exact formation of every Hebrew letter matters. A missing, touching, cracked, divided, or improperly formed letter can affect the kosher status of the entire klaf. The work of a trained sofer STaM is therefore especially important on a parchment this compact.

After writing, the scroll is computer-checked for possible textual issues and then examined by a certified sofer STaM. This combined review supports our guarantee that the parchment is 100% Kosher.

Choosing a Compatible Small Mezuzah Case

The parchment measures exactly 2.8 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide while laid flat. The width refers to the unrolled klaf and should not be confused with its diameter after rolling.

Select only a case specifically described as fitting a 2.8-Inch or 7 cm scroll. The parchment must rest comfortably inside without being folded, trimmed, compressed, or forced into the chamber.

When purchased with a compatible case, Mezuzah Store can carefully roll, protect, and insert the scroll before shipping. The case protects the klaf, while the sacred text inside a mezuzah fulfills the mitzvah.

This Extra Small Kosher Mezuzah Scroll offers a genuine handwritten solution for compact cases without compromising the complete Torah text or the requirement that the parchment be 100% Kosher.
