This special Mezuzah allows you to see the entire text of the Mezuzah scroll engraved on the outside of the Mezuzah. It is made by hand of solid Jerusalem stone and then laser-engraved with the full text of the 'Shema' exactly as it appears in the Mezuzah scroll which is hidden from sight. The text is then hand painted in black to make it more pronounced. A frosted glass letter "Shin" is affixed to the outside of the case. A memorable and meaningful wedding or housewarming gift.

This Mezuzah mounts with special, heavy-duty mounting tape made by 3M. It comes with the tape already attached. You just peel and stick!

Please note that the color will vary on this product. Natural Jerusalem stone can range from off white to pink in color. Jerusalem Stone is a natural product and each Mezuzah will have unique surface characteristics such as differences in texture or cracks. These are characteristics of Jerusalem Stone and don't in any way compromise the strength, quality or beauty of the product. You can read more about Jerusalem stone here.

Mezuzah Scroll Options:

This mezuzah case can be paired with the matching kosher mezuzah scroll shown in the product add-on area near the Add to Cart button. For this size, choose the Basic Kosher Mezuzah Scroll, which is made for mezuzah cases that hold a 4-inch scroll.

If you buy the scroll from us as well, we can ship your mezuzah with the scroll carefully rolled and inserted inside the case. When this mezuzah is shipped with a scroll already inserted, we seal the back with double-sided tape to help create an airtight seal, making the case usable on exterior doorways when properly sealed.

The case protects and beautifies the doorway, while the handwritten scroll carries the Shema (שְׁמַע) and the parshiyot (פָּרָשִׁיּוֹת, Torah passages) that give the mezuzah its halachic purpose. Customers choosing by minhag can browse our Ashkenaz Mezuzahs or compare them with our Sephardi Mezuzahs.
