This larger mezuzah case can be paired with the matching kosher mezuzah scroll shown in the product add-on area near the Add to Cart button. For 6-inch scroll fit, choose the Alter Rebbe Chabad Mezuzah Scroll, which is made for larger mezuzah cases with extra room inside.

If you buy the scroll from us as well, we can ship your mezuzah with the scroll carefully rolled and inserted inside the case. When this mezuzah is shipped with a scroll already inserted, we seal the back with double-sided tape to help create an airtight seal, making the case usable on exterior doorways when properly sealed.

The case gives the doorway its finished look, but the mitzvah (מִצְוָה, commandment) depends on the kosher klaf (קְלָף, parchment) inside. Larger cases are especially useful for customers comparing Ashkenazi Mezuzahs or looking specifically for Chabad Mezuzahs.

For more parchment options, browse our main kosher mezuzah scroll collection. You can also read our guide to what is inside a mezuzah to better understand the handwritten Torah passages placed inside the case.
